<p>We've arranged a field trip to Tiri Tiri Matangi for Saturday 10th September. For those unaware, Tiri Tiri is a fantastic island nature reserve location to the east of Hibiscus Coast. It's only accessible via boat and had an incredible variety of native wildlife inhabiting the island.</p>
<p>Club member Fiona Johnston is a guide on the island and will gladly show us all the best spots to take pictures.</p>
<p>It's a full day on the island, with the ferry leaving Gulf Harbour at 0925 and the return leg leaves Tiri at 1430, so you'll need to bring plenty to eat and drink and clothing for all weather.</p>
<p>For those who are friends of Tiri, I believe there are discounted fairs available. For the rest of us, a return ferry ticket is $82 and the guided walk is $10pp.</p>

<p>Payment for the guided walk will be taken on the day.</p>
<p>The trip will proceed in all weather conditions as long as the ferry is running.</p>
<p>If you plan to go, I would recommend taking your longest telephoto lens, a tripod or monopod as well as a normal or macro lens. Be sure you have a full battery and if you have a spare, bring that too. Hopefully there will be plenty of seasoned nature photographers attending whose brains you can pick for advice.</p>
