Domesticated or Confined Animals

Definition

Domesticated animals are those that live in or have direct contact with humans e.g. cats, dogs and birds in cages. Farm animals, cows, sheep, goats, pigs horses etc. are domesticated animals. Confined animals are those that are caged as in a zoo or confined within barriers in some sort park or reserve. These animals are usually wild animals but do not live in their wild or natural environments. So in regard to the type of animal for this brief you've got a pretty wide choice.

Photographing animals whether at home or in a Zoo or reserve requires patience, perseverance and an understanding of animal behaviour and their character so you can predict how they will be likely to act or react, and anticipate the moment for a good photograph. . Look for more than  a well photographed shot. Try to show the animal’s relationship to its environment and the people and other animals it’s around.
